Now that the heat-wave has settled, the festival season peaks. Although some of the big events in our calendar have already taken place throughout May and June, the best is yet to come. Here are the best festivals to attend in the next few weeks:

  1. Awakenings Festival — Netherlands. With eight different stages filled for two days, it comprises big names as well as many new emerging artists from the electronic music world.

2. All we want Festival — Netherlands. Not far from Awakenings takes place the All we want festival which takes place in a 12th century monastery, presenting many of the new uprising artists from all over the world.

3. Bilbao BBK Live — Spain. Situated in the Basque Country the BBK offers every year a complete line-up which not only combines known with rising artists but it also gathers varied music styles.

4. Cocoon in the park — UK. For the last eight years the city of Leeds welcomes a small but very talented group of artists which offer a unique spectacle.

5. Dour Festival — Belgium. A five-day festival with more than 100 different artists, the Dour Festival combines almost every aspect of the electronic music.

6. The Peacock Society — France. Not far from Paris this festival, which takes place twice a year, offers a unique set of artists which ensure a night of quality music.
